Timing:

• July 2026 – Contract signed, initial payment, and work started

• Late-2026 Solar panels installed and operational

• Mid-2027 Federal credits for panels

• Mid-2027 Battery system installed

• Mid-2028 Federal credits for battery system

Financials:

• Cost: $226,232

  • $113,116 from member donations

  • $99,000 from bridge loan (4% interest, no other fees)

  • $14,116 from general funds

• Federal Credits: $113,116 (50% credits) in year after system installed will be used to pay off the loan and reimburse general funds. Any excess is planned to support Benevolences and Outreach.

• Payback: 7 to 9 years depending on future electricity cost and federal credit assumptions
